Get a book, not an image of a book

Re-OCR, column detection, real chapters and a table of contents. Text you can select, search, resize and hear read aloud.

Ask it things while you read

Questions answered from the chapter in front of you, each answer citing the page it came from so you can check it.

What it does not do yet

You have been sold AI study tools before. Here is where this one is weak, so you can decide before you spend an evening on it.

  • It runs in a browser, on your phone or your laptop. There is no native app yet.
  • It finds figures and tells you what they show, but it will not read a number off a chart unless the number is printed on it.
  • Equations in EPUBs are exact. On PDFs they come from OCR, and a fraction can occasionally come out as a wrong number, so check a formula page before you trust it.
  • It is a private beta. Things may break, and the deal is that you tell me when they do.
